Zoning Commission

Among the statutory responsibilities of the Zoning Commission are to enact and administer the Town's Zoning Regulations which have been established to preserve the quality of life in Somers, and to protect the Town's rural character while acknowledging that the Town continues to develop as a highly attractive community in which to work and live.  The Zoning Commission reviews and approves all applications for Special Use Permits, Site Plans, and Zoning Regulation and Map amendments.
