What's this all about?
The Somers Cultural Commission and the Somers Department of Recreation and Leisure Activities are thrilled to announce the 2026 Halloween Decorating Contest, a fun way to get into the fall spirit and come together as a community. Participation is free, and the winners will be announced in a festive Halloween party at our headquarters, Piedmont Hall, in downtown Somers. Winners will receive a plaque and the ultimate prize: bragging rights! The entries will be listed publicly, so you can drive around our beautiful town and enjoy people's wonderful displays.

Submit your display to the Cultural Commission either by filling out the form below or by mailing a hard-copy form (available in public locations throughout town) to our posted mailing address.

- Private Homes
- Businesses and Organizations
What are the rules?
Entries must:
- Be entirely outside the home, business, or organization building. Judges will not enter a structure. It should be entirely visible from the street.
- Be entirely family-friendly. A little spooky is fine (even encouraged!), but otherwise let's keep it PG.
